In 19th century Baltimore, Isabel Porter, a girl stricken with grief from her parents' untimely death, voluntarily checks herself into the Rosewood Institute. Subjected to bizarre and increasingly violent pseudo-scientific experiments in personality modification, brainwashing and mind control, she must escape the clutches of the Rosewood and exact her revenge, or else be forever lost.

A rare film in that: While I did not like it, I do think it might be worth watching a second time to get on the same page. I mean, I almost definitely won't do that, but the thought is still present. _Final rating:★★ - Had some things that appeal to me, but a poor finished product._

Never has a film, and its actors made me so angry that I actually leaned in to punch my television. Bravo, this truly was an epic ride into delusional behaviors and actions, so overwhelming insane and horrid. I really enjoyed the story and to go into it as I'd based on true events was shocking but very believable. It plays into most thoughts of the wealthy buying and trading souls for their pleasure. If even half of the story depicted here is true, I, for one, am grateful for the record keeping of such blatant tragedies upon the poor souls already struggling in the lives. Bravo once again... Bravo...
